Attorney General Files To Restrict Dr. Conrad Murray From Practicing Medicine In California

California Attorney General Jerry Brown filed documents Tuesday in Los Angeles, acting on behalf of the California Medical Board to ask the court to restrict Dr. Conrad Murray from practicing medicine in the state of California until the criminal proceedings against him are complete.

Dr. Conrad Murray has been charged with involuntary manslaughter in the death of Michael Jackson.

"Murray administered a lethal dose of propofol, as well as other drugs to Michael Jackson," Brown said in the filing. "We will argue in court that Murray was reckless in giving Jackson such a dangerous drug and has demonstrated a serious lack of of judgment that should prohibit him from practicing medicine."

Brown's office is repping the California Medical Board, the supervising agency of doctors in California.
