Actor Peter Graves Dead At 83

Actor Peter Graves, of Mission: Impossible and Airplane! fame, has died from natural causes at 83, RadarOnline.com has learned.

Los Angeles police confirmed the actor was found dead in the driveway of his Pacific Palisades, California home on Sunday, after attending a brunch with family in celebration of his upcoming birthday on Thursday, when he would have turned 84.

The TV star - known for his dashing good looks and deep voice - played agent James Phelps on Mission: Impossible on CBS from 1967 to 1973, and on a later stint on ABC from 1988 to 1990.

In all, Graves appeared in about 130 films and television shows. In recent years, he hosted U.S. cable TV series, including the A&E Network's long-running historical series, Biography.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Joan Endress, and their three children.
