VIDEO: Michael Vick Reality Show Premieres

It's been said you can't teach an old dog new tricks, but Michael Vick is doing his best to break that perception in his new BET reality show, The Michael Vick Project, which premiered Tuesday night.
In it, the disgraced NFL star tries to show America he has evolved from the heartless head of a dog-fighting ring to a humbled, sensitive family man seeking a second chance.
"I'm Michael Vick," Vick says in the show’s intro. "My fall from grace was tragic, but it was all my fault, and I'm on a mission to get everything back. Not the money and the fame, but to restore my family's good name."

In the debut installment, Vick discusses his career and the eventual downward path it took when he got involved with dog-fighting, a practice he said he saw when he was as young as 7.
By 2001 -- the year the Atlanta Falcons made him the first pick in the NFL draft -- Vick said he really "took to it; got intrigued by it," before pointing out the old hot spots he had for the violent practice near his house.

"I was living a double life," he said in the first of ten episodes, which is broadcast on BET, Tuesdays at 10/9c.
