VIDEO: Johnny Depp Promises New Alice In Wonderland "Doesn't Look Like Any Alice That's Ever Been Before"

As time counts down to the highly anticipated release of Tim Burton’s Alice In Wonderland, Disney gives us another sneak peek at this visually stunning feast for the eyes.

Judging by the material that’s been released so far it looks like Alice is set to live up to every bit of the hype surrounding it – and more.

Depp, who plays the Mad Hatter, promises we’re in for a surprise, saying, “It doesn’t look like any Alice that’s ever been before. It’s a totally new story – it’s Alice returning to Wonderland.”

Suzanne Todd, one of Alice’s producers teases, “It’s something like you’ve never ever seen before.”

And Anne Hathaway, who plays the beautiful White Witch says, “You’re seeing so many different characters and great locations come together.”

Did we really expect anything less from visionary director Tim Burton? Seems he’s certainly not going to disappoint with amazing, wild, colorful backdrops and scenery, fantastical costumes and out of this world state of the art special effects, all brought to the big screen in stunning 3D.

The cast is stellar, with Johnny Depp, Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter, Crispin Glover and rising star Mia Wasikowska leading the pack. In addition there’s amazing and life like cartoon imagery interspersed of  the White Rabbit, Tweedledee and Tweedledum, the Dormouse, the Caterpillar and the Cheshire Cat.

Alice in Wonderland hits theaters in the US on March 5th 2010.
