New Claims About Baldwin 911 Call

New claims are being made about the 911 call Alec Baldwin's teenage daughter Ireland made on February 11, RadarOnline.com has learned.

According to her uncle, Don "Skip" Bassinger, a worried Ireland, 14, couldn't reach her father after a verbal fight, so she called 911.

"Ireland was talking to her dad and they got into an argument," says Skip, the brother of Alec's ex-wife Kim Basigner.

"He got upset. She tried to call him back and she couldn't reach him, so she called 911."

Baldwin was taken to Lenox Hill Hospital before being released just hours later. A source told AP that he had threatened to take pills.

Labeling the situation nothing more than a misunderstanding, Basinger added that he didn't know why Ireland was worried Baldwin would harm himself.

"It was a simple little thing, a misunderstanding," Basinger says about his niece's decision to call for help.

Baldwin and Ireland "talk all the time," he says, adding that the two "talk all the time."

"Ireland loves her dad. But kids and their dads are always arguing. Have you ever tried to raise a teenager?"
