EXCLUSIVE: Jewelry Store Flooded With Donations For Jaycee Dugard

A jewelry store selling donated gems to raise money for cash-strapped Jaycee Dugard is being flooded with calls and donations, RadarOnline.com has learned.
Mark Khan has sectioned off part of his Danville, California jewelry store and named it ‘Jewels For Jaycee’ as he tries to help The East Bay Fellowship Church raise much needed funds for the mom-of-two who spent 18 years in captivity after being kidnapped.
So far, the church has raised nearly $13,000 for the family and has been paying their $2,500 monthly rent for the past few months while donating to the Jaycee Trust Fund.
A spokesman from Mark Khan jewelry store told RadarOnline.com: “We are only too happy to help and people are donating new jewelry each day.
“So far, people have generously donated a diamond ring, a used Rolex watch, a pearl bracelet with matching earrings and we just sold a beautiful diamond necklace.
“The store has been here for 38 years and this is the first time we have done something like this but Jaycee is a special person and we are only too glad to help her cause.
“We recently took out an ad in the local newspaper and now that word has gotten out we are receiving a lot of calls about our ‘Jewels For Jaycee’.
“The local people have really taken her story to their hearts and everybody wants to help raise money for her trust. It’s the least we can do.”
RadarOnline.com revealed how Jaycee has started the process of writing a book about her ordeal at the hands of evil kidnapper Philip Garrido and his wife Nancy.
FAMILY BROKE: Church Paying Dugard’s Rent
Jaycee and her family were relocated to a safe location in the rural part of the East Bay within driving distance of the home she was held captive at in Antioch, according to a pastor at the church.
However, the state only gives most abduction victims $2,000 in financial aid and despite appearing in People magazine to tell her story the family has hit financial hard times.
Amazingly, Dugard – who was kidnapped in 1991 in South Lake Tahoe - was found alive last year at the Antioch home of the Garridos.
During her harrowing ordeal Jaycee gave birth to two daughters by her twisted captor Garrido.
