The district attorney prosecuting Charlie Sheen for a domestic violence felony will not stop or slow his case against Charlie Sheen because the actor’s wife is in rehab.

RadarOnline.com learned exclusively that Chief Deputy District Attorney Arnold Mordkin - who charged Sheen with felony menacing and misdemeanor charges of third degree assault and criminal mischief in connection with his Christmas day bust-up with Mueller – was not even aware that Mueller entered rehab until late this week.

Once informed of the development however, Mordkin’s immediate assessment was that Mueller’s problem will not negatively affect his case against Sheen, an insider with knowledge of the case told RadarOnline.com exclusively.

“Both the District Attorney and Judge James Boyd really worked with the couple by relaxing the restraining order and allowing them to be together,” the source said.

But, the source added, the prosecutor is taking the case very seriously and while some might believe Mueller’s credibility is damaged by her substance abuse problem, he believes the case stays strong.
