Ellen's Wife Portia To Publish Tell-All

Ellen DeGeneres’ wife, Portia De Rossi, is planning an emotional tell-all book, detailing her battle with anorexia, her sexuality and falling in love with the Hollywood comic.
"It will deal with all the secrets that nearly killed me," De Rossi, who was born with the name Mandy Rogers, told an Australian magazine.
The book, which is expected to be released this year, will tackle the good and bad stages of her life, De Rossi revealed.
"Nobody can really get inside the anorexic's mind like the anorexic,” she said.
"I abused my body. I had bulimia. I would use (diet drug) fen-phen. I wanted to talk about all that. But obviously I can't do that without talking about my sexuality. And although you can't really talk about one without the other, it still felt like two stories.
"The only thing that linked the two of them was me."
De Rossi also told The Advocate about the happiness she has found with American Idol judge DeGeneres, whom she married in 2008.

"Happiness is a choice, too," De Rossi said.
"It's a choice to live in a state of gratitude and to fix what makes you unhappy.
"Being honest with who you are, being able to go out into the world and show people that you can be successful and be happy and be in a good marriage - it's important.

"I tell her (DeGeneres) all my insecurities, all of my worries, and within a few minutes I feel better.
"She's just so helpful to me. I think I help her too. I keep her focused on what's important and what the big picture is. I think that's what a good couple do for each other."
