Dr. Conrad Murray To Face Judge Friday In Michael Jackson's Death

Michael Jackson’s personal physician, Dr. Conrad Murray, is expected to be formally charged Friday with involuntary manslaughter in connection with the death of the King Of Pop and will then be arraigned in a Los Angeles courtroom, RadarOnline.com has learned.

After the District Attorney’s office files charges against him, Murray will face a judge at 1:30 p.m. At that time, he is expected to enter a plea to the charges, most likely not guilty, as he has maintained his innocence all along.

Murray was Michael Jackson's live-in doctor at the time of his shocking death more than seven months ago.

Involuntary manslaughter is classified as a felony and carries a maximum prison sentence of four years.

Murray has been in the spotlight since Jackson's June 25, 2009 death, which has been ruled a homicide by authorities. Much of the ensuing controversy has been centered around Propofol, a strong anesthetic Murray was giving Jackson. Murray, through his attorney, said he didn't give the Thriller singer anything that "should have" killed him.

Janet Jackson, as well as other members of the Jackson family have publicly said they hold Murray responsible for Michael’s death because, in Janet’s words, "he was the one who was administering."
