EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW: Michael Jackson's Doctor Will Surrender, Says His Lawyer

Murray has been in the spotlight since Jackson's June 25, 2009 death, which has been ruled a homicide by authorities. Much of the ensuing controversy has been centered around Propofol, a strong anesthetic Murray was giving Jackson. Murray, through his attorney, said he didn't give the Thriller singer anything that "should have" killed him.

Janet Jackson, as well as other members of the Jackson family have publicly said they hold Murray responsible for Michael’s death because, in Janet’s words, "he was the one who was administering."

Deputy District Attorney David Walgren of the Major Crimes Division will prosecute the case.
