Massachusetts Senator-elect Scott Brown, the first Republican elected in the left-leaning state in three decades, appeared in the 10 at 10 segment on The Jay Leno Show Thursday, and discussed his modeling past and his single daughters.
Leno asked him: “It's been widely publicized that while you were attending law school, you posed for Cosmopolitan Magazine. Now if you were to ever run for president, would you consider doing it again to get female voters?”

Brown responded, “Well that's an interesting question, Jay. And the only reason I did it back in 1982 is because you were unavailable, number one. And then, obviously, almost 30 years later I'd probably have to do it for Mature Senior or AARP magazine. So it's a little different now.”
Jay then touched on Brown’s rousing acceptance speech, in which the jubilant politician declared his daughters were single.

Said Leno: “A, B or C: When your daughters heard you say on election night that they were available, they were A) embarrassed, B) they laughed it off, C) Got over 500 phone calls from John Edwards?”

“I'd have to go with B,” Brown said. “They laughed it off, and then they yelled at me.”
Brown was elected January 20 to fill the seat once held by the late Sen. Edward M. Kennedy; many political pundits feel President Barack Obama helped Brown win indirectly, as Massachusetts voters expressed their disenchantment for Obama’s performance by breaking their usual political stride.
