John Mayer Calls Himself An "A-Hole" For Breaking Up With Jennifer Aniston

John Mayer said he's "never really gotten over" his breakup to A-lister Jennifer Aniston, a period he described as "one of the worst times of my life."

Mayer appears shirtless on the latest issue of Rolling Stone, and in an extremely candid interview, he blames himself for the romance gone wrong, and describes himself as an "a**hole," who "burned the American flag" (in effigy) after breaking up with the talented A-lister Aniston. "I basically murdered an ideal."

The 32-year-old singer of hits such as Your Body Is A Wonderland and Daughters told the magazine that, as result of his complex ways, he is more interested in hooking up with past flames as opposed to meeting new people.

"All I want to do now is f*** the girls I've already f***ed, because I can't fathom explaining myself to somebody who can't believe I'd be interested in them," he said. "I'm too freaked out to meet anybody else."

After the article was posted online Wednesday, the chatty Mayer commented on his previous comments.

"Just read my Rolling Stone cover article. I'm still not sure if I would want to hang out with me," he Tweeted. "After 30 minutes of twirling my hair into a knot, I say "f*** it." You can't go wrong if you tell the truth."
