EXCLUSIVE: Andrew Young Was Trying To Sell John Edwards' Sex Tape

John Edwards’ former aide Andrew Young was trying to sell the sex tape of Edwards and mistress Rielle Hunter, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively.

That’s the real story behind Hunter winning a temporary restraining order Friday prohibiting Young from disseminating the tape.

Young helped cover up the one-time presidential candidate’s affair with Hunter, even claiming to be the father of her baby.

But when Edwards’ lies unraveled Young got a book deal and decided to tell the truth for profit.

But now RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively that he was also trying to profit from an Edwards-Hunter sex tape.

“He was exploring options selling the tape,” one person with direct knowledge of the situation told RadarOnline.com. “He had spoken to people about possible financial deals involving the tape.”

Young says he found the tape in the trash and it was marked “special.” Other sources say he was given the tape by Edwards during the affair cover up and asked to hide it.

Either way, the tape remained with Young after Edwards admitted to the affair. And when Young realized he could profit from his role in the Edwards affair, he not only made a book deal but also explored marketing the tape for “a fortune,” a RadarOnline.com investigation uncovered.
