O.J.'s Lawyer Trying To Slash Sheen Restraining Order

Yale Galanter knows a few things about handling a high-profile client with a penchant for trouble.

The criminal defense attorney spent years defending O.J. Simpson and now he's been hired by Brooke Mueller and will attempt to keep her out of trouble for back pedaling on her story about what husband Charlie Sheen did to her, leading to his Christmas arrest.

Galanter told RadarOnline.com that he wants the restraining order prohibiting Charlie from contacting Brooke dropped and is filing papers in Aspen court today.

Choosing his words carefully, Galanter told RadarOnline.com that Mueller didn't recant  her story but tried to "minimize her story" when she realized Sheen would go to jail.

She is worried about being accused of making a false police report.

As RadarOnline.com reported Tuesday, Sheen is in the last year of his contract with the hit TV show Two and a Half Men. His people have made it clear to Mueller that if he goes to prison there will be no money for her and no child support money.
