FBI Involved in Investigating Michael Jackson Molestation Charges

Papers released Tuesday reveal the FBI were involved on numerous occasions in the investigation into Michael Jackson molestation charges.

The investigation even went international in 1993 when the FBI dispatched an agent, along with two cops from the Santa Barbara PD to Manila in the Philippines to investigate two ex-employees of Jackson's Santa Barbara estate.

They also reveal that a US attache for the US Embassy in London was sending information back to the US regarding sexual misconduct by Jackson in England involving a phone call to a teenage boy that was now working as a DJ.

In one document, they detail a time Jackson was riding on a train with a boy he said was his cousin, they say,"He was very possessive of boy," and say that a witness, "heard questionable noises through wall."

The FBI investigation was also state wide as well as world wide FBI special agents from L.A, New York and Miami were assigned to assist Santa Barbara county prosecutors in their case against Jackson. A case in which Jackson was ultimately found not guilty.

The FBI became involved in the investigation after being contacted by the LAPD Sexually Exploited Child Unit in 1993 asking them if they would be interested "in working a possible federal violation against Jackson concerning the transportation of a minor across state lines for immoral purposes."
