Adam Lambert To Perform Live On So You Think You Can Dance

He may be too controversial for morning television on ABC, but Fox has booked American Idol star Adam Lambert to perform live -- on prime time -- on the So You Think You Can Dance finale.
The openly gay rocker shocked viewers and critics alike with his outrageous performance at the recent American Music Awards where he simulated a sex act on stage and kissed another man.
Lambert will perform his latest track Whataya Want From Me on Wednesday, December 16 in the show which was created by Simon Fuller and Nigel Lythgoe.
Glam-rocker Lambert - who was runner-up in the eighth season of American Idol - was recently banned from ABC’s Good Morning America show following his racy AMA performance.

Lambert, on his part, kept his cool throughout the entire controversy, saying only that he wished things had turned out differently and apologizing to the fans who felt disappointed in him – but not for the performance that started it all.
His first album For Your Entertainment recently debuted at Number 3 on the Billboard Charts – selling 198,469 copies in its first week.
On Tuesday, December 15, SYTYCD final will feature a showdown between the six dance finalists who will try and impress the judges before the public can vote via phone for their favorite dancers.
The next night’s big finale will have other surprise guests and performances from this season top 20 dancers before host Cat Deeley announces the overall winner who will scoop $250,000 in cash and will be on the cover of the 2010 Dance Spirit Magazine.
