Adam Lambert says he had “no clue” his sexually-charged performance on the American Music Awards on Sunday night would ignite such a firestorm.
Lambert appeared Wednesday on CBS’ The Early Show after rival Good Morning America canceled his scheduled appearance. Speaking to The Early Show’s Maggie Rodriguez, Lambert refused to apologize for kissing a male guitarist during his performance and for simulating oral sex on stage.
“I admit I did get carried away, but I don’t see anything wrong with it. I do see how people got offended and that was not my intention.”
