Twilight Stars Are Twittering

New Moon star Taylor Lautner joined his co-stars Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart with two Twitters today, talking directly to fans about the record breaking movie. 

The young star, who virtually steals the movie with his near perfect abs wrote “Thanks for your incredible support of New Moon.”  He continued with “Your passion for The Twilight Saga is the sole reason we’re #1 across the world!”

RPattz wrote to fans “Thank you for making NEW MOON #1.  It’s very exciting to be part of something embraced by so many people,” and since 140 characters isn’t enough for the gorgeous star he posted a second tweet. “I hope you are looking forward to ECLIPSE as much as I am.”  We are pretty sure fans are. 

Kristen Stewart is a woman of many words, so she needed three posts.  “You all have proven you’re the most amazing fans in the world once again,” and continued with a second one “I feel so lucky to be a part of The Twilight Saga and thank you for making us #1!”  Fearing that fans might not believe it was her, Kristen wrote a third tweet: “Yes, I twittered.  Or twitted..tweeted? I dunno, but thank you sooo much anyway..!”

New Moon is in theaters now and Eclipse will be released in June, 2010.
