NFL Hall of Famer Lawrence Taylor was taken into custody in connection with leaving the scene of an accident, and property damage, in Miami-Dade County, Florida late Sunday, officials said.

The 50-year-old Taylor, a contestant on last season’s Dancing with the Stars, was released on $500 bond, according to authorities.

Taylor, a 10-time Pro Bowl linebacker for the New York Giants from 1981-1993, has a history of drug-related offenses, including two suspensions during his playing days, and two arrests in a three-year span.
