She's been missing since May, 2007, but the parents of little Madeleine McCann have never given up hope of finding their daughter and they're now preparing a whole new round of TV interviews aimed at renewing interest in the search.

The McCanns are said to be encouraged by the rescue of Jaycee Dugard 18 years after her kidnapping in California.

Madeleine went missing from her parents' hotel room in Portugal as Kate and Gerry McCann dined in the resort's restaurant. They were initially considered suspects in the case but there was never any real evidence linking them to their daughter's disappearance which is now viewed as a kidnapping.

Kate McCann is hoping that a mass saturation of TV stories will remind people of Madeleine and motivate someone to come forward with news of her whereabouts.

The Ben Affleck-directed movie Gone Baby Gone wasn't released in the UK because it was about the kidnapping of a child named Madeline.
