Hear The 911 Call! Florida Man Arrested After Using 911 -- As Sex Line

A 29-year-old Tampa resident named Joshua Basso was arrested earlier this week in connection with accusations he repeatedly called 911 -- and asked the operators for sex. Seriously!

Basso, authorities said, turned to the emergency response line after he ran out of pre-paid cell phone minutes. He then called 911, peppering operators with comments like: "Are you gonna pull down your pants?" or "You got a nice butt," albeit in much more graphic language. An officer was subsequently dispatched to Basso's home, where he questioned the deep-breathing suspect; after multiple denials from Basso, the officer called the number in question, and Basso's phone began ringing.

He was arrested on the spot, authorities said.

Operator: " 911, What's your emergency?"
Basso: "What's up?"
He made it clear on the phone, police said, that he wanted the operator
to come to his house in Tampa, and she played along.
Basso: "You gonna come and see me?"
Operator: "Yeah! Give me your address."
Basso: "Yeah?"
Then things with Basso, got a little weirder.
Basso: "What are you gonna do when you come here?"
Operator: "Huh?"
Basso: "Huh? Are you gonna pull down your pants?"
While police say Basso was in his bathroom at the house, he asked the
operator if she had nice breasts, although his language was dirtier than
that.
Operator: "You tell me where you are and maybe I can show you."
Basso: "Huh?"
Operator: Tell me where you are and maybe I can show you."
Basso: "You got a nice butt? Huh?"
Operator: "You tell me your name maybe we can talk more. But you don't
tell me your name I'm hanging up."
