EXCLUSIVE VIDEO INTERVIEW: Musical Talents Light Up Dancing With The Stars

Dancing wasn't all that was on display during this week’s Dancing With The Stars: musical talents -- including iconic rocker Rod Stewart, up-and-coming country crooner Colbie Caillat and Ballas Hough, the band featuring dancers Mark Ballas and Derek Hough -- all performed on Tuesday night’s results show.

Caillat told RadarOnline.com's Tina Malave it was an honor to see the show's beautiful dancers move to her music.

"Singing it live and watching them dance to it live was unbelievable," Caillat, who, surprisingly told us she once auditioned for American Idol -- but didn’t make it! Said Caillat, "I'm shocked that I got this opportunity."

Ballas and Hough, normally known for their smooth steps, shared their thoughts with RadarOnline.com after a dynamic, energetic performance on the episode.

Derek Hough said singing is "totally different than dancing," because the process of creating, singing and dancing to a song is more personal and involved.

Ballas told RadarOnline.com: "It was nice to just be out there with our own song."
