Twit-For-Tat: Never Talk Politics With Scott Baio

As social networking site Twitter pulls back the curtain of celebrity, letting us see the true words of the rich and famous without the help of publicists, scripts and sometimes, spellchecking options, we get to see celeb personalities in their rawest form.

Sometimes, that's not a good thing.

Take Scott Baio for example: The Happy Days heartthrob's whining about U.S. President Barack Obama -- even calling him a "sh*tf*ck" and comparing him to Michael Vick at one point -- drew the ire of some of his followers, namely Jamie Harrington, a pink-haired Twitter user who describes herself as an "aspiring author working on her super villain book."

When Harrington took a minor poke at Baio, the Charles in Charge actor couldn’t keep his cool like the Fonz, sending a direct message to Harrington calling himself "VERY VERY rich." The Twitter users ribbed him a little over the braggadocios display of wealth; Baio then continued on, lamenting how liberal Twitter users are disrespectful to him over his political views, and then blocked Harrington.

More words were exchanged, and things kept brewing till Baio really let them have it, Tweeting in all caps with a series of bizarre, paranoid messages directed at his Democrat detractors.

First Baio Tweeted: "I've got screen shots/proof U are trying to hurt me. I WILL SUE U. EXTORT ME U WILL NOT!!"

Then, he wrote: "YOU TOLD@whyinthehell THAT YOU NEEDED A NEW PC AND MAYBE U'D GETME TO OPEN MY WALLET & WORRIED IF I WOULD SUE IF U BLOGGED," followed by, "ALSO TALKED ABOUT @whyinthehell IDING BAIO, AND BRAGGED ABOUT F'ING WITH ME, BLOGGING, EXTORTION & HURTING MY REP.

Finally, as the attention grew (and perhaps the absurdity of the situation took precedence), Scott Baio wrote: "People check @whyinthehell page and look for yourselves and @jamieharrington, & @gwenhayes STARTED THE MESS all 4cz I spoke & she didnt like."

They started it, Scott finished it.
