File this under the macabre and bizarre!

A California woman turned the home where her two sons died into a haunted house attraction before police closed it down.

Viviana Delgado lost her two sons, Mario, 5, and David Cisneros, 3, when a fire broke out in her house on May 29.

But instead of going through the usual grieving process the  mother decided to turn the site of their death into a creepy Halloween attraction, five months after their death.

"This is the way I'm coping with the loss of my two kids. It's my way of saying happy Halloween to my kids," Delgado explained. "People don't know what I'm going through, they don't know how I feel. This is how we're going to spend Halloween together."

Or at least that was the plan, last Friday the attraction was closed down though by police after they discovered the fire had destroyed the house's infrastructure and created an unsafe environment.

A sign hanging from the house's front door with a ghostly figure on it had advertised the haunted house. Halloween decorations adorned the burnt out property and various toys belonging to the two boys were scattered around the front lawn.
