LUNCHBOX: Freshology For The Young(er) Set.

Remember when we told you about Freshology, the meal delivery plan that stars such as Vanessa Williams, Jlo, and Ricki Lake swear keeps them healthy and trim. We tested it for a week and couldn’t believe how tasty it was!
Now they have come out with LUNCHBOX, a plan for kids 3 to 7 years old. ($5.95 per lunchbox, two order minimum. if you’re already on their plan.) Every week they deliver a week’s worth of all natural lunches to your door, which is a godsend for any busy parent. But as all parents know, there’s no point packing a nutritious lunch unless our child actually eats it!
When we got our delivery on Sunday night (you can choose to have it delivered at 6am every morning too )our daughter was immediately captivated by the colorful , cartoon packing (and including stickers is pure genius.) Each individual lunch comes packaged in a clear biodegradable container that includes one main meal, one snack, one dessert and a 100% juice box. So far so good!

Surprise, surprise, my picky eater reported she ate the entire lunch the first day! Second day was the hot dog lunch about which she said “no one eats a cold hotdog!” She has a point. Same thing with the “Pizza Party.” (She saved it and heated in up in the microwave when she got back from school.)
All in all, we were pleased with the offerings - except for the cold pizza and frank -- and loved the fact that our munchkin ate something with protein! (Freshology tells us the LUNCHBOX Programs for kids ages 8 - 13 and 14 - 18 are currently in development.)
