Call it the Kate Hudson Factor. Alex Rodriquez is having his best post-season performance ever. With girlfriend Kate and her step dad Kurt Russell cheering the Yankees on against the Minnesota Twins, A-Rod slammed a two-run homer in the ninth, trying the game and sending it into extra innings.

For the record, Mark Teixeira won it for the Yankees with a homer in the 11th inning, giving New York a 2 – 0 lead in their playoff battle.
