Gwyneth Paltrow is not only an award-winning actress -- she's also a lifestyle guru. So it came as no surprise when her equally wise mother Blythe Danner gave RadarOnline.com her tips for making grandkids Moses and Apple jump on the saving the planet bandwagon.

What's her secret for raising the awareness of the famous tots: taking them to the dump. "They hold their nose and they help me and we rinse out cans and we take them out to the back and we sort them and I take them down to the compost heap and they help me throw things into the compost heap," Danner said at Sunday's Environmental Media Awards which honors film and television's role in promoting environmental awareness.

"They talk about it a lot. We talk about it a lot and how not to waste water. And they know, they don't want the earth to be brown, they want it to be green."

The Tony and Emmy-award winning actress is on the board of directors for the Environmental Media Association which marked its twentieth anniversary with the awards ceremony. She is currently filming Little Fockers in which she reprises her role as Ben Stiller's mother-in-law.
