John Travolta stepped out before the cameras and his fans September 10 -- the first time since the death of his beloved son Jett.
Flanked by his wife Kelly Preston and daughter Ella Bleu, Travolta made a surprise appearance at D23 Expo, a Disney fan event in Anaheim, Ca.
The family was there to promote Old Dogs, a Disney film starring all three.
John hadn't been able to handle promotional chores on The Taking of Pelham 123 earlier this summer.

At the time, his emotions were still too raw. But with Old Dogs also being Ella Bleu's film debut, John knew it was time to step out. He wanted, he said, to support "my baby."
