Paula Abdul Wishes Ellen "The Best of Luck"

Ellen DeGeneres may have permanently taken her spot at the judges table on American Idol, but publicly Paula Abdul only has nice words to say about the comedian and her former television home.

"American Idol is a fantastic show that offers an invaluable platform to young talent," Abdul said in a statement. "Ellen DeGeneres is wildly funny and talented in her own right.  I wish her and the show only the best of luck.”
