It looks like Jon Gosselin has had enough of listening to Kate's spin on their marriage breakup.

Jon is blasting his estranged wife in a new interview set to air Tuesday on ABC's Good Morning America in which he reveals that Kate refused to go to marriage counseling to try to save their union.

"I have a $22,000 therapy bill," he tells ABC. "I mean, I tried to have marriage counseling. I did it myself. She refused to go."

Jon's interview follows Kate's emotional appearances on the Today show and Larry King Live, where she was very effective in getting out her side of the story about why the marriage failed. And with Jon dating 22-year-old Hailey Glassman (plus being linked to a string of other women) he has received a lot of negative publicity.

But now Jon is hitting back, and hitting hard.

Speaking of Kate in the ABC interview he says: "I don't trust her anymore. I was abused ... I was beaten down ... I'm not going back to that life style."

And not surprisingly Jon and Kate disagree about who ended the marriage. Kate has said it was Jon but he now says: "She made the first move. She knows the truth. I wish to God, she would speak from emotions ... She's not speaking from the heart. Please -- the stuff you tell me in private should be the stuff you tell me on TV."

Jon claims the marriage suffered a death blow when he finally stood up to Kate and told her he was going out with friends. In the past, Jon says he gave in when she told him not to.  But when he refused to relent, things were never the same.

See Jon "out with friends"-he takes Hailey Glassman to France!

"In 10 years, I've never gone out ... When she said, 'I don't want you going out,' I ... I used to say, 'OK, I'm not going to go out.' I was very passive. This is the first time I said, 'You know what? I want to see my friends. I'm going out,'" he says. "That was the first time in my life I ever stood up to Kate ... I just felt like I had to take back some time in my life, and I did it. And I felt really good. I made my own decision ... I was beaten down for so long, I couldn't even make my own decision. And when I did, I was like, holy cow! You know? Yeah, what's she gonna do? Divorce me?'"

Well actually Jon, that's exactly what she did! (Hey, we're not taking sides but just guessing there are a lot of women who don't react well when the husband says, "I'm going out to party with my buds, you stay home and take care of the eight kids. Ok, bye!"

Jon blames a lot of his problems on being too passive throughout the marriage and says his relatives barely recognized the "whipped" Jon.

(He's not passive anymore, folks. He just bought a brand new Mercedes for himself! We're guessing Kate isn't pleased.)

And Jon says he has cried more than ever.

"I don't cry," he told ABC.  "I cried at my dad's funeral. That's it," he said, "but like, I've cried more now in the last, like, eight months than ... my whole entire life."

"OK, I've made mistakes. Maybe it wasn't the best idea to go out to the clubs. But we all learn from mistakes, except mine are public."
