Rev. Al Sharpton says he will be a guest at the burial of Michael Jackson on Thursday.

The New York minister attended the NAACP Theater Awards in Los Angeles Monday night and spoke exclusively with RadarOnline.com's reporter Rachel Smith. However, Sharpton would neither confirm nor deny whether he will speak at the extremely private affair.

Rev. Sharpton was one of 20,000 people who attended a birthday celebration for the King of Pop over the weekend that was produced by Spike Lee in Brooklyn, NY.  The reverend told us he would like to make this an annual tradition.

His most emotional memory involving Michael is taking the pop superstar to James Brown's casket. Michael told the reverend: 'I hope that James in death gets the credit he did not get in life,' And that's what I hope for Michael," said Sharpton.

Jackson's burial will be held Thursday at Glendale Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, California.
