RadarOnline.com is uncovering new details about the sordid ways Randy and Evi Quaid allegedly scammed various hotels and other businesses.

The couples' former private investigator, Becky Altringer says Evi frequently used a bad credit card that bore the name Janet Cross.

"The first time I ever met with Randy and Evi was at the Avalon Hotel in Beverly Hills and I saw Evi take out this card," Altringer told RadarOnline.com exclusively. "The hotel desk kept calling their room and Evi suddenly said to me, I wish they'd stop calling here. I know it's the mob trying to get us. Then they took off without paying. I went down to the hotel desk and told them Randy and Evi Quaid were the ones staying in the room. The hotel didnt know it was them. They thought it was someone named Janet Cross."

During the 23 days that she worked for the Quaids, Altringer says Evi gave her the credit card once to use for dinner.  "It was declined," she says. "That's when I asked Evi where the card came from and she told me she got it from her friend named Janet Cross. She told me the card had a $50,000 limit on it, which I thought was odd, because what person gives a friend a credit card with that kind of limit on it?"

Altringer said she did a search for Janet Cross, but came up with nothing. "People think Evi is crazy, but she knows exactly what she's doing. She's not crazy, she's evil."

Randy and Evi were arrested last week on warrants connected to an unpaid debt they owe the swanky San Ysidro Ranch in Santa Barbara. RadarOnline.com was first to report that the couple also owes the Bel-Air Hotel in Los Angeles $17,000 and never returned a rental car that ended up being reported missing by Hertz Rent-A-Car.
