Despite on-line reports that  the couple were screaming at each other, RadarOnline.com learned the disagreement was all a creative difference, not sniping over Karina's time getting ready.  "It's not true," our source told us.  "They were debating making a last minute change to their performance. They were not fighting about hair and makeup."

Karina and Maksim both clearly had strong ideas about the dance, and our source said, "They were debating so it may have sounded heated and angry, but it wasn't."  Putting their creative ideas aside, the couple kept the dance the same as they had practiced.

Maksim told RadarOnline.com in an exclusive interview on Friday that even though he and Karina are "trying to figure things out," that it only takes one bad thing to sour a relationship.  When we asked if he thought breakups were hard, the sexy dancer told us "F*** Yeah!"
