The Brent Shapiro Foundation for Alcohol and Drug Awareness held it's Summer Spectacular Saturday night and RadarOnline.com was there to talk with the stars.  Brent died of a drug overdose in 2005 at the age of 24. His father Robert Shapiro, the famed OJ Simpson lawyer told RadarOnline.com that they have the party to teach people that "you can have fun at an event without alcohol." After the loss of his son, Robert started the foundation to raise "awareness for people to know this is a disease."

Joined by their long time friends Larry King, Rachel Hunter, Rick and Kathy Hilton, Robert and his wife Linell also told RadarOnline.com their heartbreak over the loss they suffered recently with the death of DJ AM who had been very active in the foundation and a friend of the family. "DJ AM was a close friend to Brent, the son we lost," said Linell. "This was a tragic loss.  He was an amazing human being."
