VIDEO: Twilight Kids Make 2009 Teen Choice Awards Their Playground

It's not just Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart getting all the headlines: Twilight stars Taylor Lautner and Ashley Greene shined at the 2009 Teen Choice Awards, which was broadcast on Fox Monday night-- receiving the Fresh Face awards after their breakout efforts in the vampire-themed series.
Upon receiving the honors -- large surfboards in lieu of statues or plaques -- both of the young stars thanked their fans for the honor.

Greene said she was surprised in how far she has come in the past year, while Lautner -- speaking over the screams of emotional teen girls in the crowd -- thanked the fans for "their passion and commitment to the series."
In all the film took home 11 awards, determined by more than 83 million votes cast by fans; other notable honors for the vampire sensation included Best Drama, Best Romance, Best Actor (Robert Pattinson) and Best Actress (Kristen Stewart), among others.
The highly-anticipated second installment in the Twilight series, New Moon hits theatres this November.
