Superstitious or not, it looks the curse has lifted from the Dallas Cowboys.

For a pre-season game in their $1.2 billion dollar stadium (that’s B for Billion), the Cowboys triumphed over the Tennessee Titans on Friday evening–led by a much improved Tony Romo.

Throughout his courtship with crooner Jessica Simpsons, fans and media speculated that the blonde brought a curse to the frequently-fumbling team.

New stadium and newly single, Romo seems to be on an upswing.
