Primetime’s getting a little less Ugly this year–American Ferrera‘s beloved shchlep Betty Suarez on ABCs Ugly Betty is getting a makeover.

Photos surfaced today of Ferrera on set looking dramatically improved from her normal Betty gear–braces, bushy eyebrows, loud mismatching frocks and a mop top.

“She’s getting glammed up,” a show insider tells RadarOnline.com, “she’s still Betty, just Betty 2.0.”

This second generation Betty has a blowout, lip gloss, face-countouring makeup and a much needed waxer.
