Rimes "Will Be Cleared" In Alleged Hit and Run Says Rep

LeAnn Rimes is hoping her latest controversy will go away quickly. A rep for the singer spoke up on regarding the alleged hit and run on Thursday night.
"There was a routine police investigation into this incident, and a police report was filed," the rep sad. "We are confident that this matter will be resolved shortly and LeAnn will be cleared." The Los Angeles Police Department paid a visit to Rimes' home to question her.

Rimes was supposedly driving around her Brentwood neighborhood on Thursday evening when she allegedly slammed into another car. Earlier in the day she was spotted golfing with Eddie Cibrian in Valencia, Calif.
