The current economic crisis, billed by some as the worst since the Great Depression, is nothing to laugh at -- or is it?

Prankplace.com, an online gag shop, is making the best of a bad situation, marketing popular products to those who want to replace the stress of layoffs, foreclosures and the like with the world's best medicine: laughter.

"This economy is in the crapper and many customers are buying products that relate to money and the toilet," says PrankPlace.com president Steve Wampold said.

Some of the company's sadistic-yet-side-splitting products relating to the economy include: a toilet paper roll with sheets resembling $100 bills; phony eviction notices for those hurting for the rent and fake winning lottery tickets.

"Humor is one aspect of our lives that doesn't go away no matter what the state of the economy is," Wampold said.

Other non-economy-related, but still funny as hell, offerings include fake parking tickets (just imagine the temper tantrums!); Liquid Ass, an aromatic concoction intended to mimic the smell of a pungent flatulence (perfect for elevators!) and realistic-looking rubber turds in every shape from hearts to peace signs to question marks.
