Now Pitching For Your Los Angeles Dodgers: John Cena

Not since Eric Gagne has a hurler this jacked-up taken the hill at Chavez Ravine: WWE muscleman John Cena Thursday will toss the ceremonial first pitch when the Blue Crew takes on the Chicago Cubs at Dodger Stadium Thursday.
The 32-year-old began his wrestling career in the Southern California-area at the UPW Wrestling facility. In addition to wrestling, the charismatic star's talents have extended to movies (12 Rounds, The Marine) and music (his hip-hop album, You Can't See Me, reached the top 10 on the U.S. charts). Despite his success in a variety of mediums, Cena has said, on many occasions, he will stick with wrestling, and not leave the squared circle for the lure of Tinseltown (We're looking at you, Dwayne Johnson!).

On Sunday, Cena headlines the upcoming WWE pay-per-view, Summerslam, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, taking on incumbent champ Randy Orton in a title match. Also scheduled on the card include sports entertainment stars such as Jeff Hardy, Rey Misterio Jr. and Cryme Tyme.
