Disgraced former pro-football star Michael Vick will appear on CBS' 60 Minutes on Sunday. It will be his first interview since being convicted of running an illegal dog-fighting ring: a crime that landed in federal prison for 18-months and got him suspended from the NFL.

The interview -- conducted by CBS Sports/NFL Today anchor James Brown on Monday, August 10 in Virginia -- will be broadcast on 60 Minutes at 7 p.m. ET/PT.

The segment will also include interviews with Wayne Pacelle, head of the Humane Society of the U.S. and Tony Dungy, the former NFL coach who will be a special advisor to Vick.

The ex-Atlanta Falcon's quarterback was conditionally re-instated by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell on July 27, a week after he was released from federal custody. If a team is interested in him, Vick could be playing again in a regular league game by the sixth week of the NFL season.

Vick's agent said in a radio interview Tuesday that "a lot of teams" are interested in signing him.

Agent Joel Segal told ESPN 980 radio in Washington, D.C., that he's optimistic Vick will be back in football soon, saying it's "not a matter of if, but when."
