Kevin Costner walked away unharmed this weekend after a thunderstorm caved in a stage at a Canadian music festival him and his band were slated to perform at, to tragic results: the accident left one person dead (killed by falling debris), two hospitalized in critical condition and about 75 injured, officials said.

Costner's manager, Nick Meinama, said he was caught underneath the stage with the Field Of Dreams star -- who was getting ready to perform next when the stage caved in Saturday.

"He was unhurt. I was unhurt. We wiggled our way out," Meinama told CTV News Sunday. "We found that our road manager and guitar player had been hurt, but the ambulance and the paramedics were here instantly to take them to the hospital."

Thousands were camped out at the Big Valley Jamboree when the storm hit, approximately at 6 p.m. Saturday. The Bodyguard star -- and part-time musician -- reportedly stayed to help victims, including a band member whose arm was trapped by the falling debris.
