Academy Award winning actress and singer Jennifer Hudson has given birth to a healthy 7lb 14oz baby boy.
The baby has been named David Daniel Otunga Jr in honor of his dad, David Otunga, the former I Love NY2 contestant turned WWE star.
"The baby is beautiful and perfect," Hudson's publicist Lisa Kasteler said in a statement to RadarOnline.com. "His parents are ecstatic." Mother and baby are reported to be doing well after Monday’s birth.

Although Hudson, 28, never publically confirmed that she was expecting, it was obvious she was pregnant when she sang on stage as part of the memorial concert for Michael Jackson in Los Angeles, performing Will You Be There.
Hudson and Otunga are engaged, but have declined to say when they will wed. This is their first child.
It’s believed that Hudson kept her pregnancy private in wake of the intense media attention focused on her after her mother, brother, and young nephew were brutally murdered in Chicago last October.
