Jaycee Lee Dugard's reunion with her family this past weekend went well, according to eyewitnesses who saw the 29-year-old mother-of-two reconnect with her relatives 18 years after her kidnapping in 1991.

FBI Special Agent Chris Campion discussed last week's ecstatic reunion between Dugard and her mother, Terry Probyn, on an FBI podcast.

"It was a very emotional scene -- both of them were just overjoyed to be with each other again," he said. "The two daughters are probably as happy as Jaycee is to be part of this family; there's going to be a period of adjustment, no doubt, but they're doing very well at this point."

Dugard's family members expressed their happiness via various media formats.

"My wife says Jaycee looks good," Carl Probyn, Dugard's stepfather, told ABC News. "She looks almost like when she was kidnapped. She doesn't look 29 at all."

Dugard's 19-year-old sister, Shayna Probyn -- a baby when her older sister was kidnapped -- wrote she has "a lot of love to share with my sister and new nieces" in a MySpace message.

Carl Probyn said that while happy, the healing process has just begun, noting that the two girls Dugard bore with her kidnapper, 58-year-old Phillip Garrido, had not yet adjusted to the dramatic events.

"They are upset about this because that's their father and he's in jail ... it's a minute-by-minute thing," he said. "It's going to take years ... how do you deal with this?"

Garrido was in custody on suspicion of various kidnapping and sex charges. His wife, Nancy Garrido, 54, is also in custody on kidnapping charges.
