Candy Spelling has been on a whirlwind tour since releasing her memoir Stories from Candyland this past April, and RadarOnline.com caught up with the grand dame of Hollywood over the weekend.
RadarOnline.com reporter Alexis Tereszcuk spoke with Candy, who was dressed to the nines in a Moschino dress, and a fabulous necklace by Marco Bicego, at the I’m Every Woman non-profit organization monthly book club in Los Angeles on Saturday afternoon where Spelling talked about her sense of humor, her obsessions, and her wishes for her grandchildren.
Candy talks about plans for her own television show & Tori’s responds!
The book signing was a packed event, and during the Q&A session the ladies in the audience were laughing at Candy’s candid answers and advice. Club members even brought treats that they prepared using recipes from Candy’s book. The red velvet cake disappeared first, but Candy was able to try some of the other desserts and told us they were “perfect!”
Watch how Candy describes with honesty and humor what makes people enjoy her book. “I tend to laugh at myself,” she told us. Candy talks about her doggie Madison’s website, her obsession with cleaning son Randy Spelling’s office, and why she wrote the loving letter to estranged daughter Tori’s children at the end of the book. “I hope that they read it and know I meant what I said.”
