As Jon’s life has become a parade of romances and denial of romances with younger women, Kate has avoided the tawdriness that has kept her family on magazine covers. She did an emotional Today show interview, appeared on Live With Regis & Kelly and will now be interview on Larry King Live on Tuesday night.

“Kate has always taken the high road in this thing,” the source close to her told RadarOnline.com. “She doesn’t talk about Jon or bad mouth him at all. Kate mostly talks about her own feelings or emotions. That’s all. And she’ll continue to do this.”

And yet those feelings and emotions have to be pretty raw, especially after Jon wouldn’t let her in the family home recently and police responded to Kate’s 911 call. She eventually left the home and spent the night in a local motel. Meanwhile Jon’s 22-year-old girlfriend Hailey Glassman accused Kate of playing the “sympathy card” during a recent interview.
