EXCLUSIVE: Ashton Kutcher Plays Matchmaker for Mischa Barton

In New York to shoot her new television show, The Beautiful Life, Mischa Barton seems to be making quite the recovery since her involuntary commitment at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
And on Sunday night, the 23-year-old actress baby-stepped her way a little further, allowing pal and The Beautiful Life creator Ashton Kutcher to set her up on a blind date!
“Mischa went on a date with a guy Ashton hooked her up with,” a well-placed source told RadarOnline.com exclusively. “He’s an extra on the show. They met at a sushi bar down in SoHo and he’s really cute!”
Reps for Barton and Kutcher had no comment.
Perhaps Mischa’s mystery man accompanied her later to an acoustic Peter Bjorn set at NYC’s Cooper Square Hotel, which RadarOnline.com reported on Monday.
