An innovative minute-long video entry netted California man Jared Cicon a cool $10,000 in a clever contest sponsored by Skinit.com, a business that provides consumer personalization for electronic devices.
“We challenged anyone with a creative bent to make a 60-second commercial they would want to see on TV,” Paul Buss, CEO of Skinit.com said. “Jared’s spot … definitely captured the spirit of Skinit, and made us laugh at the same time.”
The video depicts the family man ripping through his family’s belongings — even the unmentionables — for materials for which to customize his tech gadgets.
“I have four kids, and everyone in the family was excited to get involved,” Cicon said. “During the production process, I destroyed a baseball, a basketball jersey, a pair of jeans and even my wife’s underwear, but it was worth it!”
Definitely worth it — $10,00 buys plenty of baseballs, jerseys, jeans and underwear.
