Paula Abdul may be Forever Your Girl – but will she be forever your judge?

Abdul appeared on the Home Shopping Network early Friday morning to promote her jewelry line – but that’s not why we watched it.  We wanted to see if  Paula would mention if she would be returning to American Idol next season.

No such luck.

Several of the people who called into the program expressed their love for Paula -- one caller even  said “I know that I know that Simon loves you”  in a veiled reference to her ongoing, strained contract talks.

Paula – seeming very restraint in responding to the caller –simply said: “ And I love him too.”

Earlier, Paula went on Twitter to explain her reasons for not signing the deal for another year of judging American Idol, the top rated show on network television.  “Your support & encouragement means so much to me.  I hope you understand I can only return to Idol if the deal is fair.”
