Kesha Nichols, the beautiful bride left at the altar by New Jersey Nets hoopster Richard Jefferson, told Good Morning America Wednesday, said she is not as despondent as media reports have portrayed her as, but rather ready to pick up the pieces and move on with her life.

Nichols, who said she's "lived every girl's worst nightmare," said her optimism stems from her craft.

"When you're heartbroken, just dance," she said. "Just keep dancing for life."

Nichols --a former NBA dancer --now owns a dance studio.

Nichols told GMA that she was not dumped by e-mail, as previously reported. She said she is keeping the ring, but hasn't worn the dress and probably won't.

She said she "has no hard feelings" for the NBA star, who she dated since 2004, and "will miss him as a friend." She said she has not spoken with him in more than two weeks, and will not likely for some time.
